Multiplayer airline strategy
Every rival is a real person.
Found an airline in a persistent shared world. Open routes, build hubs, and fight for passengers against other players — no AI opponents, ever. The world keeps flying while you sleep.
Built for competition between people
Headwinds runs the full Tailwinds airline simulation — fleet, routes, hubs, pricing, loyalty, cargo — then replaces every AI competitor with someone who can actually hold a grudge.
Human rivals only
There are no AI airlines. Every carrier in the standings is a real player growing a real network. Fly a contested city pair and the demand splits between you and them — fares, frequency and quality decide who wins it.
Persistent worlds
Worlds run on a server clock — one game week every hour or few, around the clock. Set your fares and frequencies, log off, and come back to a week of results, rival moves, and consequences.
Player alliances
Alliances aren't scripted blocs — players found them, approve who joins, and share the benefits: partner feed on connecting traffic, a demand boost where allies overlap, and a weekly fee to keep it honest.
Diplomacy & messaging
Message rivals directly or talk strategy in your alliance chat. Negotiate a truce over a contested route, coordinate hubs with allies — or bluff. Blocking the ones who won't stop talking is also supported.
The full airline sim
The same deep simulation as Tailwinds: lease and buy from 100+ real aircraft, build hubs and focus cities, run cargo, price cabins, invest in loyalty — across 1,500+ real airports.
Rival intelligence
Click any airline in the standings to see its route network, fleet and recent moves. Watch a rival lease widebodies and guess where they're going next — then get there first.
How a world works
Each world is a fresh map shared by up to 50 airlines, run end-to-end on the server. Join one and the story writes itself.
Sign in & pick a world
One click with Google or an email link. Browse open worlds — each shows its pace, progress and how many seats are left.
Found your airline
Name it, pick a hub airport anywhere on Earth, and you're in with starting capital and an empty route map.
The clock never stops
Game weeks advance automatically — even while you're offline. Set your network up to survive without you, then check back to see what your rivals did about it.
Outfly real people
Climb the standings over a 50-year world. Ally, negotiate, undercut, fortress your hubs — whatever works. When it ends, the ranking is history.
Multiplayer. Persistent shared worlds where every competitor is a real player. Server-run clock, alliances, diplomacy, seasons that end with a winner.
